I’ve been making and throwing around a mix every early January since 2003 or so. Despite the name, there is no theme, other than a bunch of great tunes I’ve been listening to over the last year.
It was a more difficult this year to pick a selection of tunes, because I’ve been churning out more mixes than usual.
But here’s the round-up. It starts off a little sad-sack, but hopefully ends redemptive. It’s my way of kissing off 2010, which was not without its moments and its gifts, but largely (if I may) a goddamn shitstorm.
Here’s to looking forward.
