Portland’s indie folk masters Horse Feathers are releasing their third album next Tuesday, April 20th, on Kill Rock Stars. Thistled Spring promises to continue their good work to date, and the promotional materials are capitalizing on the release date and album title to promise “an album of rebirth, renewal, and fragile hope.”
The first single, “Belly of June”, portends more of the same great stuff I’ve come to love about these guys since 2006′s Words are Dead.
And I love the album artwork (below), which is a much cooler version of the pics I took on my iPhone when the sun was out in my neighborhood a few weeks ago (above).
